Yes indeed, the huge/heavy box arrived today.  Since it is so well packed (thank you!) and I cannot get all of the outer tape off, I am going to give tomorrow night's dinner guests an additional treat:  they will help me unpack "my lady" and place her in her new location.

So I will not be able to report on her until tomorrow night.  But at least for now you can be assured that she has arrived, carton intact.  I am frustrated that I cannot view her....but it will be fun to share the unveiling of my new acquisition with some "techie pals".  Final report tomorrow.  Thanks for tracking....and packing.....surely she will be in good shape!

Hello Jerome:  She is wonderful, looks great on my newly acquired pedestal (promise to send you a photo soon) and arrived with nary a mark (your packaging security was amazing

and took three of us to unpack her!).

Only (slight) lament, needing your suggestion:  because of newly installed in ceiling lighting (halogen embedded in ceiling unlike track lighting), she has distracting reflections on her hat...due to the high polish.  Do you think I could apply a thin coating of beeswax or some such, just to her hat to diminish the "sheen"?  Your advice?

The New Guinea mask arrived today (Wednesday, Oct. 12) in good shape. An imposing mask, it reminds me of a Surrealist piece. The two other pieces (Ibo mask with bird and Indonesian sculpture) also arrived with no problems. Both are awesome works, especially the sculpture  (it looks like a creation myth scene). I am very pleased with these orders and will continue to visit your website.
